I wasn't sure what to expect when I purchased this book. A marriage of convenience in a contemporary novel? At first I was put off to see a contemporary woman fall for a marriage contract, but the author redeemed herself. The characters grabbed me from the first chapter. The author did a good job of creating conflict and adding interesting subplots. The more I read the more I found I couldn't put the book down. The ending was a pleasant surprise. Very well done. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to read a good romance with lots of conflict.Product details

This book was not exactly what I expected but it was a good read, no cliffhangers. I would have liked more in the ending but overall I enjoyed the book.
Though Race was a stubborn pig headed mule for most of the book, there was a satisfying HEA for each character.
The Baby Race is a very cute story written by author Elysa Hendricks. Race and Claire enter into an arranged marriage, each for different reasons.
This book was interesting and I would definitely reread. The author used a played out story line and really managed to turn it into something great, especially with the tension between the main characters. Great Job!!! Great Read!!!
What a cute storyline that had lots of great characters. I enjoyed how the author developed the romance storyline between the two main characters and also all of the great secondary characters.
A marriage of convenience brings Race and Claire together. Claire needs a father for her young step-sister and Race needs a wife to win his grandmother's crazy baby race. With the prize money he will be able to save his rescue horse ranch.
The author did a great job with sexual tension between the hero and heroine and I found myself pulled right into their lives in this small town romance. And I have to say I loved Petula the pig as well. A well written and very enjoyable read.
This is a compelling story about the power of love and family set against the backdrop of a horse rescue ranch. Race and Claire never intended to fall head-over-heels for each other when they marry for convenience, but when it happens, sparks fly! The depth of emotion and the sweet story make this a must read for all romance lovers!
